This week is a Bandcamp Friday, meaning that the artists get 100% of your Bandcamp purchases. It's one of the best ways to support musicians directly. Check out the new LP Kelly album if you haven't already, and buy somebody else's stuff, too. Everybody wins!lpkelly.bandcamp.com/10 track album ... See MoreSee Less

I've done far more gigs with Chris McHenry Printz than I have with anyone else. We've played together as Awesome Possum and the Trash Pickers, as The Jugbusters, as Beyond The Pale, as Old Man Kelly and the Streetsweepers, and also probably some other bands I'm not remembering 🙂 Chris played the mandolin track on "Bike Thief", a ballad of lust and larceny. Check it out on Love Songs For Loners from LP Kelly. And thank you, Chris, for all the years of music! ... See MoreSee Less

More Love Songs For Loners album thank-yous! Tonight's shout-out goes to Paul Herling, who played the sweet sweet fiddle on "Sun In The West", a song I adapted from Dean "T-Baby" Reed of Rich Creek, VA. Paul has been a staple of the Blacksburg live music scene for decades. Whether playing for square dances with Indian Run Stringband, fiddling with F-150 back in the day, or fronting the Blue Monday Band, if there's dancing to live music in Blacksburg, there's good odds that Paul is on the bandstand. Thank you, Paul! ... See MoreSee Less
